Santa Fe Community College To Host Broadband Networking/Job Fair from 3 to 5 p.m. on May 16th!
Santa Fe Community College will host a Broadband Networking/Job Fair from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 16, at the Santa Fe Higher Education Center, 1950 Siringo Road. More than 300 certified Fiber Optic Technician graduates will be invited from across New Mexico to attend. The event is free and open to all New Mexicans interested about careers, education and training for New Mexico’s broadband industry.

“Her Land: Women in Agriculture” exhibit is coming May 12th from the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Museum to the Governor’s Gallery in Santa Fe. “Her Land: Women in Agriculture” is a rotating exhibit at New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Women hold a pivotal yet often overlooked role in New Mexico’s agricultural history. These women manage farms, preserve cultural traditions, and pioneer sustainable practices. Their resilience and expertise continue to shape the agricultural landscape of New Mexico.

The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (NMDCA) invites New Mexicans to the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) in Albuquerque for readings of the winning and honorable mention poems from the 2025 DCA Ekphrastic Poetry Contest. April is National Poetry Month, and this reading brings New Mexicans across the state together to celebrate their love of artwork and poetry.

At Chimney Rock you can imagine the landscape as it was a thousand years ago, with cultivated fields and settlements extending from the valley floors to the mesa tops. Located in the San Juan National Forest between Durango and Pagosa Springs, CO, Chimney Rock represents one of the largest Pueblo II (900-1150 AD) communities in southwestern Colorado and is considered a Chacoan cultural “outlier.”
