The KTAOS Solar Bar

The KTAOS Solar Bar is the place to meet friends for happy hour, enjoy a variety of live music acts, dig into authentic tacos, and of course to always bring out-of-town guests. The KTAOS Solar Bar offers an unparalleled bar experience, framed by two operating radio stations. All that separates bar patrons from the live solar-powered radio broadcast is large panels of quarter-inch glass. The KTAOS Solar Bar’s indoor lounge area and solar-powered radio stations are only matched by the huge rolling lawn with spectacular views of the sacred Taos Mountain, as the KTAOS Solar Center borders Taos Pueblo lands.

The KTAOS Solar Bar is super kid-friendly and outfitted with a designated kid’s play area called the Fun Station, all thanks to our friends at Twirl Toyhouse and Playspace. Hula hoops to soccer balls, board games to croquet, kids of all ages love playing in the grass with friends. Full kids menu too!

We’re located at the beginning of the road to the Taos Ski Valley. Just look for the solar panels!

4-9pm Sunday through Thursday
4-11pm Friday and Saturday

No pets allowed.

There’s plenty of parking at the KTAOS Solar Center so please don’t park on the highway. There is a large lower lot if you follow the road on the right side of the building.
